Victorian requirements
Under Victorian law, a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) must be provided when selling a registered motor vehicle. According to VicRoads, the certificate is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. If the vehicle is not sold within 30 days, a new RWC must be obtained.
